Brigid & Keegan
Or more accurately, The Shamrock Jamrock starring Brigid and Keegan.Steel pan performer, check. Electric guitar processional, check. Irish dancers, check. Hora (yes!), check. Good times by all, most definitely. And if I had the time to put that in the form of a limerick, I would have, just to keep in the spirit of the festivities. Brigid and Keegan are a stylish and creative combo who threw what might have been one of the most festive weddings I have every witnessed. When it was time to dance, the floor was packed.
The ceremony was lovely. (But it seemed that the officiant's way of arranging the wedding party was almost entirely for the benefit of the photographer. Reverend Leslie was more than accommodating when it came to choreographing where I should stand, but I couldn't help but think that the congregation was getting the short end of the stick when they spent most of the time looking at the back of the bride and groom's heads). This is all at Fantasy Farms, on Pottery Road, by the way. The photos of the girls before the ceremony was done around the corner, at the Evergreen Brickworks.
